Set spending limits

Cap what a single run can spend, or set money limits on a specific paid action, from the employee's Settings.

You can cap what a single run spends, and set money limits on a specific paid action, from the employee's Settings.

Limit what a single run spends

  1. Open the employee, then go to Settings → General.
  2. Under Spending limit per run, type a dollar amount. It's off by default (no limit) — a run spends what its work costs.

Once set, any single run that passes that amount stops: the employee gets one last turn to report what it has, and the run is marked stopped at your limit, not failed.

Limit a specific action

  1. Open the employee, then go to Settings → Permissions.
  2. Under Money limits, set Each time ($), Per day ($), or Times a day for that action. Spending over these limits asks you first.

Set the same defaults for every employee at Settings → Permissions, without opening one employee at a time.
