A bot is one running copy of Nebo, with its own employees, work, and settings. Bots are free — you only pay when one runs in Nebo Cloud.
On your computer or a server you run
- On that computer, go to the download page, download Nebo, and open it.
- During setup, click Connect with NeboAI and sign in with the same account.
- Finish setup and click Open Nebo.
The bot appears under Your Nebos on neboai.com and in the mobile app. In the mobile app, you can also start here: tap your bot's name at the top, tap Add bot, choose Already have a Mac or PC?, then Use my computer — the bot appears once you sign in on that computer. That computer or server needs to stay on and connected for its employees to work. If it doesn't connect, see "Could not connect to [bot]".
In Nebo Cloud
A Nebo Cloud bot is always on — there's no computer to leave running.
- On neboai.com, go to Your Nebos and click Add a Nebo.
- Under Name your bot to launch it, type a name.
- Click Launch.
In the mobile app: tap your bot's name at the top, tap Add bot, choose Use Nebo in the cloud, then Continue with cloud. Type a Bot name and tap Create bot.
Nebo Cloud uses your plan's included hosting, or is charged to your plan — either way, the screen shows the cost before you launch.
