Teach an employee what to remember

Tell an employee something once. It uses it in the jobs that follow.

About 3 min

When you finish, your employee will know a few facts about your work, it will have used them in a new job, and you’ll know where to review what it remembers.

Tell it once

  1. Open a chat with an employee.
  2. Tell it something that holds for every job. For example: “Our invoices are due in 30 days. Sign every email as Jordan.”

Your employee saves lasting facts from your conversations on its own. You don’t need to ask.

See it used

  1. In the sidebar, right-click the employee and choose New chat.
  2. Give it a job that needs what you told it: “Draft a reminder for an invoice that’s ten days overdue.”
  3. Read the draft. It uses the 30-day terms and your sign-off, without you repeating them.

Review what it remembers

  1. At the top of the chat, click Employee settings.
  2. Choose Memory.
  3. Search in Search memories, or filter by Tacit, Daily, or Entity.
  4. To remove a memory, click Delete, then Click again to confirm.

Each employee’s memory is its own, along with the preferences you share with all of them.

Choose how it learns from corrections

  1. In Employee settings, choose General.
  2. Under Self-improvement, choose Learn freely, Ask me first, or Off.

With Ask me first, new lessons wait in your Inbox until you approve them.
