When you finish, an MCP server’s tools will be available to your employees, and one of them will have used those tools on a job.
Before you begin
You need the server’s URL, and a sign-in or API key if the server asks for one.
Add the server
- Open your account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and choose Bot settings.
- Choose MCP, then click Add server.
- Under Choose authentication method, choose OAuth 2.1, API Key / Bearer Token, or None.
- Enter a Server Name and the Server URL.
- Click Add Server. If you chose OAuth 2.1, click Connect with OAuth instead, and sign in to the service.
Some servers come as a connector in the Marketplace. Paste a connector’s install code into any chat and send it, and
Nebo adds the server for you. Connector codes start with CONN-.
Put it to work
- Open a chat with an employee.
- Give it a job that needs the server’s tools. Your employee uses them and reports back.
Offer Nebo’s tools to another app
Nebo can be an MCP server too. While Nebo is running, the command nebo mcp serve offers Nebo’s tools to
any app that starts MCP servers. See the MCP reference for details.
