When you finish, a coding tool you already use will be an employee on your team, working toward a goal you set.
Before you begin
- Nebo is signed in to your NeboAI account.
- Claude Code, Codex, or Gemini CLI is installed on this computer, and you’ve signed in to it.
Hire the tool
- At the top of the sidebar, click + (Hire an employee).
- Under Hire from another app, click the tool.
- Keep the suggested name or type another, then click Continue.
- If Nebo asks Which computer should it work on?, choose one.
- Under What may it do without asking?, choose Same as company defaults, Automatic, Ask, Plan, or Full Access.
- Click Hire. Nebo opens a chat with your new employee.
Give it a goal
- Describe the result you want, not the steps. For example: “The contact form doesn’t send. Find out why and fix it.”
- Send the message. The employee works in a folder of its own and reports back in the chat.
- When it needs your OK, a card appears in the chat and in your Inbox.
